Davide Costa is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies within the Department of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics, and Systems Engineering (DIMES) at the University of Calabria, Italy. He earned his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in 2021. From November 2021 to November 2023, he was a research fellow under the POR CALABRIA FESR 2014/2020 DeepStethoscope Project. His research encompasses the application of multimodal deep learning techniques to text (NLP), images (CV), and audio (CA), with a specific focus on the exploration and definition of contemporary self-supervised contrastive-learning training methodologies. Additionally, he has contributed as a reviewer for conferences and is a member of the Machines, Languages, and Networks Team @Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Lab within DIMES.
